Introduction

Hello to all those out there whose favorite room is the kitchen.

I know there are many of us who spend a great deal of time in the kitchen. I am one of those. I work a 40+  hour week and come home to find peace in my kitchen. Its the one place where I can be myself and boss others around. A place where one can whip, beat, grind, chop, and cream without fear of police interference.

I was always like this. Some of my favorite memories are helping my Papa out in the kitchen. He learned to cook in the army and even though there was never an army around to feed, he still cooked like there was. I didn't cook much though, until after he passed away. Cooking was my way of being close to him. I found pleasure in trying to make his recipes, and if someone told me, "It's as good as Papa's," it was the best compliment I could achieve. And there it took off.
After I graduated college and moved back home, my job was the chef in our house, and it was a job I loved. And now living on my own, the challenge increases. Now its my job to cook, as well as seeing what I can cook on a budget. I have mastered meals on less then 10 dollars, and made them last for days. Who said that being a broke 25 year old on a tight budget means you have to eat Ramen noodles all the time?

Thats my goal, to help all those out there create some awesome meals on a tight wallet. And also to rate some best places for grocery shopping. Being from all over the east coast I have come to find some good shopping places. So I'm gonna give some easy recipes ideas, and maybe some challenging ones. I'm going to share my secrets, and even show my face, but all in all....I'M GONNA HAVE SOME FUN!!! And so should you. So comment, tell me what you think and hell...even share your own recipes, and maybe I'll even try them.
